Flower Print Bandana Workshop & Garden Party
Flower Print Bandana Workshop & Garden Party
Summer is here and color-giving flowers are blooming!
Connect with nature and your creative community as you learn fresh flower and leaf printing, and enjoy a delicious, light, farm-to-table meal.
We’ll gather on Sunday, August 3rd at Abraham and Susan Rowe’s garden in Florence, Alabama, where the Idyllwilde dye flowers grow. You’ll use fresh and foraged flowers to create a floral print silk bandana.
In addition to this hands-on experience I’ll provide you with information for future eco print projects, such as plant selection, textile choice, and essential scouring and mordanting processes to aid in color and light fastness.
We’ll prepare farm-fresh dishes, chilled beverages and bubbly for you to enjoy around the garden table, and you’ll leave with an abundance of plant dye knowledge and your one-of-a-kind flower print bandana.
Ages 12+ and any experience level welcome
We can’t wait to share this experience with you
All inclusive workshop fee: $90.00
